Show Colormap
The ShowColormap App consists mainly in generating the colormap table which shows the intensity values of each Red, Green, and Blue channel. The table consists of 4 columns, the first one represents the index into the colormap which is the number at pixel location, the following 3 columns represent the intensity values that go from 0 to 1 for each channel.
In Matlab, the process of generating the colormap is the following: First, the desired image is uploaded, we will use this image as a base to generate the color map by using this code line: app.map=[(1:size(app.map,1))' app.map]; This generates a 1 row by 255 element vector and it is necessary to do the transpose of it to obtain the table already explained, this is reached by applying the (') operator. Then the colormap generated is set and later will be applied to the original image.
There is a call back function known as colormapTableCellSelection, this function consists of whenever an index number of the table is selected, those pixels that represent the intensity values of the are going to become white.
