Social System
In addition to battling mystical galactic foes, the other half of the game is a social/worldbuilding game where a player's Cleffian can consistently make their home planetoid more and more luxurious. Initially, the planetoid is devoid of life other than the main character, but by rescuing victims from chambers, the main character can bring them back to their home and begin the process of converting them to followers.
To do this, the would-be follow has a request or list of requests of items than can only be traded for or found in the depths of the danger wormhole. Until this desire is satiated, the visitor will roam around the realm in a depressed demeanor. If the requested items are located and brought back to the visitor, they may make the transition to follower, where they will begin singing praises, directly affecting the homeworld's size and capabilities. If too much time passes before the visitor's wishes are fulfilled, they will elect to decohere to another location, in search of a more interesting life.
In addition to utilizing items found in chambers to convert visitors to followers, some can be equipped and used in battle ("remnants" -- ancient leftovers from an ancient civilization, and "curios," or fancy decorative objects in high demand. Players can opt to visit another Cleffian's homeworld to engage in trade, or even duel for honor.
