Protected Ping responses must preserve an absent, explicitly empty, or nonempty message after a DebugLink screen read during confirmation. Add a version-gated regression covering those cases. The absent-message assertion fails on the preceding firmware; all cases and the existing Ping test pass with the staged response-initialization fix.
Fork audit dependency for release 7142; bounded above the frozen previous host-test branch. No upstream review requested.
