Fix forecast follow-ups: station KPI crash, band tooltip, navbar label - #20
Conversation
- Station KPIs referenced an undefined `monthly` object whenever a line forecast was active, which broke the Estações tab. - The chart tooltip now shows both bounds of the forecast band instead of only the lower one, and skips the band's anchor point. - The navbar no longer shows the data-source label. 117-125: 🎯 Functional Correctness | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winAssert the equal-bound anchor branch in the tooltip test.
tooltip_jscontains only the formatter source. The test does not call the formatter with a real band or inspect rendered HTML. If the equal-boundreturnis removed, both current checks still pass. The direct upper-bound token check catches a simple removal offmtN(p.value[2]), but it does not protect anchor suppression.Suggested fix

The ensemble's back-transformed median over-forecast in the backtest: the median standardized error is negative at every horizon. The backtest now stores that median (q_mid), and forecast_line() shifts the plotted path by it. The 12-month KPI is the growth of the plotted path, so chart and card agree. Its bounds still apply the 12-month-sum quantiles to the summed ensemble median, the base those errors were measured against. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The rolling release carries line 5 entrance for Apr 2026 at about half the total its daily averages imply, so the source published only part of the month. The month dragged line 5's forecast to -14% and showed as a sharp drop on the chart and in the KPIs. drop_partial_months() removes line-months whose total is under 75% of the total implied by the business-day, Saturday and Sunday averages. It applies to the series behind the charts, KPIs and forecasts; the Download tab keeps the published tables. The backtest quantiles are refreshed on the cleaned data. Filter partial months when weekend averages are missing.
Line 5’s August 2018 transported total covers only the days before the handover, but its msa and mdo values are NA. Here, implied becomes NA, so filter() retains this known partial month. The Lines tab then presents its three-day total as the latest transported month and uses it in comparisons. When mdu is available, use a conservative weekday-only implied total if weekend averages are missing. Keep months with no usable averages unclassified. (viniciusoike.github.io)

Remove the fixed-row requirement from the data contract test.
If the selected demand release corrects or removes the Line 5 row for April 2026, these assertions fail even when drop_partial_months() and the download tables work correctly. global.R selects a remote release and can fall back to bundled data. Keep the exact drop case in the controlled fixture. For the app-data check, compare raw and filtered rows from the same selected source without requiring this date to remain partial. Fixes issues found after #18 and recenters the forecast path.
Changes
output$sta_kpiscalledforecast_growth_interval(monthly, fc), butmonthlydoesn't exist in that scope. The lines were left over from the Lines KPI block, so this PR removes them.tools/forecast-backtest.Rstores that median (q_mid), and the plotted path applies it. The 12-month KPI is the growth of the plotted path, so the card matches the chart. Its interval still comes from the 12-month-sum quantiles. For most lines, the projected growth falls by about 0.5–1 point.Tests
tests/forecast.Radds a check for each change. The station check runssta_kpisintestServer()with a forecast active, and it fails without the fix. All six test scripts pass locally. I also checked the tooltip and the Estações tab in the running app.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
