Multi-value rational/array tags collapse to a single scalar #105

Description

@swackhamer

Found via

Independent exiftool-parity audit comparing oxidex against a freshly pulled ExifTool 13.55 tag database.

Bug

Tags whose value is a rational/numeric array come out as just the first element instead of the full array:

  • EXIF:BitsPerSample: ExifTool "8 8 8" → oxidex "8"
  • EXIF:AsShotNeutral: ExifTool "0.592408 1 0.501692" → oxidex "0.592408"
  • CR2CFAPattern, SubjectArea also affected

This is a real correctness bug (not cosmetic) wherever ExifTool returns a multi-element array — appears across multiple formats (JPEG, CR2, DNG, others), so likely a shared array-formatting/writer code path.

Scope

Affects any tag with TIFF type RATIONAL[]/SRATIONAL[]/array count > 1. Should be fixed once in the shared value-formatting layer rather than per-tag.

Repro

Compare EXIF:BitsPerSample or EXIF:AsShotNeutral on a JPEG/RAW fixture between oxidex -j -e and exiftool -json -a -G1 -struct.
