Pagination on one-to-many with requirement bug?

This is a continuation of a conversation I had on IRC. I created the test 
script & rdbo test classes to simulate the problem.

Basically, if I try to paginate a list of objects that have a one-to-many 
relationship with another object with a requirement that the relative objects 
match a particular case, the pagination fails.

I am using MySQL 5.0.51a-24+lenny4 (on Debian Lenny)
