colon : character in filename unusable outside Linux #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to copy a png image to a USB drive then to a windows machine

Please provide any additional information below.
Windows doesn't allow the colon : in file names, thus making importing of the 
png files into windows impossible without editing each individual filename and 
KML.  Could you change the MAC file name to not use colons, but underscore _ 
instead?, e.g.:

00_11_22_33_44_55.png

& of course change the reference in the KML too!
