I am an astronomer at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics in Munich, Germany. I work on various software packages in astronomy. You can see some more information about me on my personal website:
The main things I am working on now are pipelines for the Vera C. Rubin Observatory which is currently observing in Chile. I am particularly interested in photometric redshift estimation using both template fitting and machine learning algorithms. I am also interested in imaging processing including near infrared imaging from the VISTA telescope in addition to Rubin data.
