I faced the challenge in a project that the client needed a checklist built and some checklist items needed a file upload. So i added multiple filepond instances... but if they used the paste functionality each instance would get the file.
I set about making it so only if the element was hovered would it receive the paste
I made it false by default to ensure no breaking changes, it's opt in.
