Support for Ubuntu?

This is my favourite client, is there ever going to be plans to make ubuntu releases?

Not a Ubuntu native release because it was written back in the day using Microsoft's MFC libraries which aren't available on Linux.

However the current version of MUSHclient works perfectly well on Ubuntu using Wine, so I would just run it using that.

There's a GitHub project that reimplements MUSHclient using Qt, making it fully cross-platform—supporting Linux, macOS, and Windows. It maintains about 99% compatibility with the original MUSHclient APIs. I haven’t tried it myself yet, but it looks promising and you might want to give it a shot. The project is named Mushkin, created by Justin Popa.

But anyway, MUSHclient works perfectly fine on Ubuntu already with Wine.

That's right, I'm currently using the wine solution to run mushclient on Ubuntu. By the way, Mushkin's GitHub address is: https://github.com/justinpopa/mushkin
