Thanks for getting us moving on revising the exercise @lgmccurdy !
I think you're trimming some of it. I'm going to try doing the exercise as you've rewritten it (after I finish up my installs tonight)...
Let's see what @mo-wright thinks of it...

| For the moment you don't have to worry about treating multiple countries specially. That is, where the input country value is something like `"US, UK"`, it's okay if your XML says `<country>"US, UK"</country>`. We'll process that value further, later in this unit, using XSLT within XProc. | ||

| Invisible XML doesn't create pretty-printed (wrapped and indented) output by default, and we'll take care of that later, once we begin using XProc. If, in the meanwhile, you'd like to make the result more legible, you can save the output file, open it in <oXygen/>, and pretty-print it there. |

We can probably rephrase / simplify this bit. Maybe say: it will come out not pretty, but open it in oXygen to pretty-print it and search through it to check it.

Hi @lgmccurdy ! I thought this guide was very well-written and easy to understand. I rearranged the content slightly so it builds on itself in a way I thought was a bit more intuitive (starting with more basic concepts and working its way up), as well as adding some other concepts I thought were important to have in the initial guide (inclusions, exclusions, some minor clarifications on things that might be confusing etc.). I did add more than I removed, though, so we can discuss what needs trimmed if any inclusions seem unnecessary. |
This is where I'm starting the tutorial
Reminder to @ebeshero to do all the new installs!
