Not sure what was up with CI, but it doesn't seem to like pip 25.3 🤷.

Fixes #14
Addresses some additional missed deprecations and fixes issue with handler configuration not being passed to the collector properly. Tested manually on my project so 👍.
Already bumped the version so it'll be easier to release :)
