Summary

This refreshes #252 on current main. The original patch only changed three
scripts; current main still contains machine-specific OpenClaw paths in
the runner, slash helper, cron wrapper, and sample config.

Changes

• Derive the SkillOpt checkout, plugin, task, and default config paths from the script location.
• Prefer an installed OpenClaw config while retaining the bundled sample as a fallback.
• Resolve blank agent/workspace settings through OPENCLAW_HOME, OPENCLAW_STATE_DIR, and OPENCLAW_PROFILE.
• Match OpenClaw path semantics by preserving symlink paths and honoring HOME before platform defaults.
• Match OpenClaw named-profile semantics, including the default sentinel and invalid profile names.
• Make the cron wrapper portable and use the relocated OpenClaw state .env.
• Keep the OpenClaw directory clearly labeled as a reference, not a ready-to-run integration.
• Add isolated portability and subprocess regressions.

Verification

• python -m pytest tests/test_openclaw_portability.py tests/test_plugin_sync.py -q: 23 passed, 1 symlink test skipped on Windows.
• Ruff passes for the new path resolver and regression file.
• bash -n plugins/openclaw/run_sleep_cron.sh passes.
• No ethanclaw paths remain under plugins/openclaw.
• The current upstream Windows suite has 22 pre-existing failures; the same selected failures reproduce on the unmodified base commit.
