Removed unused imports. As written should work with private osappdirs which doesn't rely on explicit Path conversion. Though explicitness may be preferred, keeping convention for now and a more explicit path migration/update across the entire codebase can be done later.

This change uses the design suggested in #1 to implement a workspace model using symlinks to connect local repositories.
