Mikupad is a minimalist, powerful, browser-based frontend for interacting with large language models (LLMs). It runs entirely in your browser and connects directly to your local or remote LLM backend, no middleman server required!

I like servers. What now?

No problem! Mikupad also includes an optional server. First, install Node.js, then start it by running the file at server/start.bat.

This server offers the added benefit of storing all your data locally, so you don’t have to worry about your browser randomly wiping your stories.
