event.disconnect() does not work

I Created the connection and the connection was successful.
I then tried to close the event connection by Ctrl + C but the connection did not close the terminal did not respond maybe the NeoNize is blocking the main thread which does not allow the keyboard interruption .
I tried python way to handle it but it still does not work.
I literally had to kill the terminal every time and run the script again to connect and test out the features.
