Preliminary checks
Describe the problem requiring a solution
The ending of winning a scenario is very anti-climatic (as it was in the original game too).
It simply says "X player has been vanquished" and then you're taken to the main menu.
No celebration, no reflecting on the game that you've just spent hours on, just bang, straight back to choosing another game.
Describe the possible solution
I'm proposing a modal (or separate screen, not overly precious about the choice) detatiling some fun-to-see stats about the game that was just played.
For example:
Total gold/wood/ore/etc... collected
Most used spell
Strongest hero
A timeline of events (Age of Empires does this and it's one of the highlights of finishing a game)
You get the idea...
This at least gives the player time to digest the fact that the game is over. It feels very abrupt currently.
This was a problem in the original too but I thought it should be flagged :)
