Hi, @joereynolds. I agree that this info could be fleshed out. There are some questions concerning how to implement it, like how are we going to display this info to the player? The area with info in the dragon animation does not have space for this. A separate dialog could be possible, but how would you open that dialog? I think these questions should be clarified before anyone decides to take on this task. I'm therefore going to convert this issue to a discussion and when the whole implementation is figured out we can open an issue. |

Preliminary checks
Describe the problem requiring a solution
The ending of winning a scenario is very anti-climatic (as it was in the original game too).
It simply says "X player has been vanquished" and then you're taken to the main menu.
No celebration, no reflecting on the game that you've just spent hours on, just bang, straight back to choosing another game.
Describe the possible solution
I'm proposing a modal (or separate screen, not overly precious about the choice) detatiling some fun-to-see stats about the game that was just played.
For example:
Total time
Total gold/wood/ore/etc... collected
Breakdown of spells used
Strongest hero
Breakdown of creatures lost and killed throughout the game
A timeline of events (Age of Empires does this and it's one of the highlights of finishing a game)
You get the idea...
This at least gives the player time to digest the fact that the game is over. It feels very abrupt currently.
This was a problem in the original too but I thought it should be flagged :)
