Maintaining the changelog for the backend in a markdown, additionally to the release notes on github was not ideal. It often caused conflicts when it was maintained during development. And now, as it's only getting updated before a release there is no benefit of having it.
This PR adds links to the actual release pages and lists the old legacy changelog below (but will not be updated anymore).
