Summary

This repository owns the modeled runtime fixtures published as the Hugging Face runtime_fixtures config. The GitHub README and CITATION.cff previously cited only this software repo. The public research page already links the dataset; this change adds the same first-party cite here.

Dataset: https://huggingface.co/datasets/HashgraphOnline/hol-plugin-security

What changed

  • README.md: one-sentence Dataset cite in the same honest tone as hol-guard PR 2476. Links the dataset. States that runtime fixtures are modeled, not live attacks; a scan is not a safety guarantee; HOL publishes this rather than independent third-party validation.
  • CITATION.cff: adds a related identifiers URL for that dataset. Keeps type: software and existing fields. Does not replace the software citation with the dataset.

Scope / honesty

  • Investigated the dataset card and Hub structure first: runtime_fixtures has 220 rows; no dataset DOI; default config is catalog plugins, not this repo.
  • Did not invent download or star counts.
  • Did not attribute Hashgraph Online org-wide GitHub stars to this benchmark repo.
  • Did not change product claims, license, or version.

Verification

  • Confirmed YAML parse of CITATION.cff.
  • Existing software citation fields (type, url, repository-code, license, message) are unchanged.

Link the first-party HashgraphOnline/hol-plugin-security dataset from
the README and add it as a related CFF identifier so GitHub citation
metadata can emit the URL. Runtime fixtures remain modeled software
evidence, not live attacks or third-party validation.
