For testing partylan without it in your Steam library:

1. Download the proper ZIP file. This should be partylan-windows-x86_64.zip for most people.
2. Unzip the files to a folder.
3. Create a text file steam_appid.txt, with 480 as the content.
4. With Steam running, run lpvpn.exe.
