JOSM Utilities for the NVBW BFRK Import

This repository contains various utilities used by the NVBW BFRK import into OpenStreetMap:

JOSM Tagging Preset

The JOSM tagging preset is an implementation of the criteria catalogue of Barrierefreie Reiseketten in der Fahrgastinformation (English: Accessible Journeys in Passenger Information) published by DELFI e.V. The catalogue was translated into OpenStreetMap tags by Mentz, NVBW and OPENER next.

JOSM Validator Rules

This repository contains some validator rules which were useful during the import.

Examples:

• ticket vending machines without operator=* or brand=*
• mismatch between brand=* and brand:wikidata=*
• width=* or maxwidth:physical=* containing explicit metric units (e.g. width=250cm or width=3m)
• value unknown
• temporary tages (keys starting with _nvbw_temp_ or _temp_nvbw_)
• maxweight of elevators entered in kg, not tons
• platform lift tags on platform edges
• capacity=* or step_count=* is not an integer number
• seats=* on platforms
• platforms mapped as areas with width=*
• signal Ne 5 without position or direction
• signal Ne 5 not on a railway track
• milestone not on a railway track
• toilets without gender information
• platform edges without numbers
• ref=* on platforms (local_ref=* should be used instead)

JOSM Style

This repository contains a small additional map rendering style written in MapCSS. It supports:

• indicators for the orientation of incline=*
• platform section signs (A, B, C, D, …)
• small passenger information displays (e.g. Dynamische Schriftanzeiger)
