Aryan K. (funinkina)

Backend engineer. Systems tinkerer. Occasional kernel hacker.

Website LinkedIn Email

I build backend systems, mostly voice infrastructure and LLM pipelines lately. I like working close to the metal: the kind of debugging where "why is this 500ms" is a real question and the answer involves a flame graph.

I also contributed a patch to the Linux kernel (ALSA/HDA subsystem), once reverse-engineered a proprietary printer protocol from USB captures for fun, and write about Linux and systems work on my blog (~1,000 monthly readers).

What I'm up to

  • Backend Engineer Intern at SuperDash
    Bengaluru, Karnataka · June 2025 – Present

Owning voice agent infrastructure end-to-end - edge ML models for interruption detection, de-noising, and forced alignment; self-hosted TTS at sub-200ms; WebSocket refactor that cut call latency by 80%. Also designed and shipped an event-driven automation pipeline as a core product feature, from client co-design through production rollout.
