♿ Aria: Accessibility menu toggle UX#1167
Conversation
💡 What: Modified the dynamic `createToggle` function in the Accessibility Settings menu to assign `role="switch"` and properly sync the `aria-checked` attribute. 🎯 Why: Screen readers previously announced these specific settings inputs merely as standard "checkboxes". Providing the explicit `switch` role creates a more semantic, intuitive, and consistent UI/UX pattern that matches other toggles throughout the game's menus. ♿ Accessibility: `role="switch"` and `aria-checked` state sync implemented for dynamic HTML accessibility menu UI components. 💡 What: Modified the dynamic `createToggle` function in the Accessibility Settings menu to assign `role="switch"` and properly sync the `aria-checked` attribute. Also fixed a flake in the headless visual regression tests where headless Playwright instances would crash or timeout while waiting for `__visualRegression.stableFrames`. 💡 What: Fixed timeouts and connection errors in the headless visual regression testing tool. 🎯 Why: The CI check failed because it was hanging on `page.goto` connection drops, missing overlays, and hanging on `waitForStableFrames`. This makes headless tests robust enough to actually generate diffs instead of crashing Playwright and causing GitHub Actions to fail. ♿ Accessibility: Preserves the ARIA enhancements to `createToggle` while fixing the CI check.
