What & why
Adds a
linkCurveTypeconfig option to theGraphcomponent, letting user choose how link pathsare interpolated instead of always drawing the default cubic Bezier shaped by
linkCurvature.linkCurveTypeaccepts anyCurveTypevalue (e.g.CurveType.Step,CurveType.Natural), whichis passed straight through to
d3-shape'sline().curve(...).It also accepts a new
'smoothStep'value — a custom curve (adapted from xyflow's smoothstepedge) that routes the link as a right-angle step with rounded corners. It picks a single fixed
exit/entry side (and axis) for the whole set of links based on the graph's overall flow
direction, so links still read as source -> target even when an individual node ends up on the
"wrong" side after a drag or layout change.
