- Around line 42-48: Update the stdout handling in the test around the
Promise.race so it buffers data until a newline arrives, then parses only the
first complete line as the port. Preserve the existing race against the child’s
exit so early termination still reports the captured stderr.

Problem
On macOS, starting a snapshot with
eggctl start --snapshot-blob ... --title=...passes--titleas a Node option. Node replaces the process command line with the bare title, soeggctl stopcannot discover the snapshot process and printsstoppedwhile the service remains listening.Change
Place the title token after
--in snapshot launches so it remains application argv and preserves the command line required by existing stop discovery. Windows process discovery now uses PowerShell CIM instead of WMIC, which was absent on the Windows test machine and prevented stop from querying processes. Add an argv regression assertion and a real snapshot test that checks HTTP readiness, process discovery, process exit, and port closure. Read the snapshot port as a complete stdout line, with coverage for split chunks and subsequent output.Validation
@eggjs/scriptstypecheck and focused package build passed.@eggjs/scripts@5.0.2-rc.1returned stop exit 0 while its port remained listening; a locally built and packed fix stopped the process and closed the port.Review follow-up
Unfiltered
findNodeProcess()now returns discovered Node processes on both Windows and POSIX. Predicate filtering is preserved. Added cross-platform tests for unfiltered/filtered discovery, empty and single-object CIM output, unreadable command lines, and a real-process unfiltered assertion. Helper tests also run in the Windows CI job.Validation: 40 focused tests passed on macOS Node 24.21.0 and Windows Node 24.18.0; typecheck and 5 CI plan tests passed. The Windows temporary checkout, dependency cache, uploads, and test processes were cleaned up after verification.
