contradictory explanation of option to ignore space in zsh

The website configuration paragraph says for zsh:
hstr --show-zsh-configuration >> ~/.zshrc
This results (amongst others) in the line
setopt histignorespace # skip cmds w/ leading space from history

The environment variables section reads for zsh:
setopt HIST_IGNORE_SPACE

Is one of them wrong or are both expressions exchangeable?

Both expressions have the same meaning and are exchangeable. Please check man zshoptions which says "Options are primarily referred to by name. These names are case insensitive and underscores are ignored. For example, allexport is equivalent to A__lleXP_ort."

I agree that this might be confusing - when I wrote the code I used what subjectively did better fit the context. I think that that I will align both to use upper case version with underscores for better readability.
