…match on it first Each file in batch/tracker-additions/ includes a url column, and merge-tracker.mjs matches duplicates on that URL before falling back to its other checks. Batch guide updated in en, es, fr and de, with translationHash restamped. Follow-up to the documentation drift report on career-ops-hq/career-ops#3813. Thanks for this. One point needs narrowing: the PR says duplicates are matched on the posting URL first. That only happens when the tracker has a URL column, and the tracker created by onboarding doesn't have one. For a reader on the default setup, the sentence describes something that won't happen. Could you make it conditional, along the lines of "If your tracker has a URL column, duplicates are matched on the posting URL first; otherwise on company and role"? That keeps it true for everyone. (pt/it: we'll take care of those after merging.) The branch also conflicts with |

…er has a URL column The tracker created by onboarding has no URL column, and without one merge-tracker.mjs matches on the report number, then on company and role. Step 6 now says so instead of promising URL matching to every reader. en, es, fr and de; translationHash restamped on es, fr and de. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

At career-ops-v1.36.0, after the URL check (or without a URL column) merge-tracker.mjs looks for the same report file, then report number plus company, then entry number plus company, then a fuzzy company and role match. The guide named only two of those four. en, es, fr and de; translationHash restamped on es, fr and de. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Closes the remaining item in the documentation drift report on career-ops-hq/career-ops#3813.
That report asked for two things in the batch guide: stop calling tracker additions one-line files, and mention the
urlcolumn. #91 already did the first. This does the second. What changes
Two sentences in the batch guide, in English, Spanish, French and German:
url".#number and company, and finally a similar company and role."Both statements were checked against the latest core release,
career-ops-v1.36.0.batch/batch-prompt.mdwritesurlas the last column of every tracker addition.merge-tracker.mjsmatches on the URL first only when the tracker has a URL column: the tracker created by onboarding has none, and in that case it warns that URL dedup is inactive and goes straight to the same-report-file, report-number, entry-number and fuzzy company+role checks.Nothing here is specific to the localized prompts that #3813 changed. The docs do not describe those files; the guide's wording now holds for them as well as for the English ones.
Translations
translationHashis restamped ones, franddeto the new English hash (192c11c3c95133c4). The es, fr and de translations were written with Claude and have not had a native-speaker read.ptanditlanded onmainafter this PR opened and are not updated here, so they now carry the previous English hash (537bf031e6d66d7e) and read as stale, as agreed in review.Checks

Updated the Batch Evaluate Offers guide on career-ops.org in English, Spanish, French, and German. Each version now says tracker-addition summaries include the posting’s
url. Step 6 clarifies that duplicate matching uses the posting URL when the tracker has a URL column; otherwise, it uses the report number, then company and role.
