Summary

• Select PostgreSQL before SQLite configuration reads when explicitly configured; reject connection/probe/migration failures instead of falling back. Unconfigured installations retain SQLite and the legacy dashboard-managed workflow.
• Store proxy timelines in PostgreSQL, preserve SQLite pruning, add migration 025 and a private, atomic sidecar-copy helper.
• Transfer large PostgreSQL results with their original success/error status, bounded at 32 MiB.
• Refresh Codex discovery with client 0.160.1 to expose GPT-6.1 Sol, exclude its unsupported review variant, and preserve the existing embedding exclusion and provider-scoped reasoning efforts.
• Add a 12-server MCP preset catalog: GitHub, Context7, Playwright, Filesystem, Memory, Sequential Thinking, Fetch, Brave Search, Firecrawl, Notion, Linear, and Z.AI. Selecting a preset only populates fields; credentials/transport settings do not carry between presets. Custom retains edits. Required secrets and filesystem roots are guarded.
• Update operator, storage, migration, upgrade, provider, and MCP documentation with official setup links; use the production editor in Storybook.

Migration and operational notes

Migration 025 adds PostgreSQL timeline tables with event sequencing, a unique trace/sequence constraint, and cascading deletes. SQLite 025 retains the existing sidecar. Direct PostgreSQL startup does not copy existing main-database or timeline data. Follow the documented cutover/copy procedure, quiesce writers/watchdogs, and preserve encrypted credential keys and verified rollback backups. Results over 32 MiB are rejected; timeline detail reads do not paginate individual events.

The earlier local repair already migrated 58,102 traces and 3,982,779 events with full canonical-row SHA-256 parity and verified new PostgreSQL usage/timeline writes. Credentials and runtime backups are not part of this PR. This PR does not publish a release, merge branches, or change the running deployment.

Verification

• Complete Node 20.20.2 no-regression gate: 11,973 passed, 58 existing skips; zero failures and no baseline additions.
• Real isolated PostgreSQL: 10 MiB UTF-8 result hash parity; 33 MiB rejection followed by a successful SELECT 42; timeline FK cascade.
• Real browser: native preset selection, required GitHub-secret rejection, mixed safe/root filesystem rejection, saved Context7 instance with two upstream tools discovered. Mobile 390px layout has no horizontal overflow and 44px preset/documentation targets.
• Mutation controls: removing filesystem all-path enforcement and the retained embedding guard makes their regression tests fail; restored behavior passes.
• Documentation, agent index, provider catalog, registry index, and PostgreSQL migration consistency checks passed.
• Documentation website production build passed.
• Canonical CLI package production build passed. The copied artifact booted outside the source checkout with NODE_PATH empty, returned authenticated HTTP 200 for a 10,000,140-byte/10-event timeline with UTF-8 hash parity, and created no SQLite files.

Existing lint baseline

Full npm run lint reports 21 anti-slop diagnostics in 20 unchanged files. The same full lint failure is reproduced on clean origin/main with the same lockfile and private Node-20 dependencies. The two newly introduced preset typeof diagnostics were corrected using the existing isString utility. No baseline additions or unrelated lint rewrites are included.
