Omega is an official Hack Club You Ship, We Ship program. Build an Android, iOS, or cross-platform app and earn Ω tokens for rewards such as phones, developer licenses, and tools.
- Pitch your app idea and get it approved.
- Build for at least 25 hours, tracked with Hackatime.
- Submit your project on Omega Form.
- Get your project approved and earn Ω tokens and gain a multiplier based on approved hours and project quality.
- Spend your tokens in the Omega shop.
You can build for Android, iOS, or both. Participants may submit up to two projects, and the same work cannot be submitted to another YSWS.

npm run devCopy .env.example to .env and configure the required credentials first. The website runs at http://localhost:5173, with the API on port 3000.
Run checks with npm run check and create a production build with npm run build.
I have used Claude to seed projects, for tests, apart from that I used Claude for design suggestion and changes, it also helped me to write basic backend for slack and admin tools for Omega. I don't recall correctly but I think I have used Codex (cuz my Claude code was over :sob)
