The channel_history plugin currently has no ability to open or interact with URLS. In order to activate a link, the message containing that link must first be copied to the clipboard and then pasted into the browser after removing surrounding content.
Describe the solution you'd like
Channel history should identify links in the currently focused message and a keystroke should be added to open that link in a browser.
Describe alternatives you've considered
It might be useful for one keystroke press to copy the link and two presses to open the link in a browser, in case the user does not want to use their default browser to open the link.
