VAID is a signed, attenuated, revocable delegation document that fills the proof_ref/credentialRef slot a2aproject/A2A#2028's actorChain thread converged on: actorChain stays the attribution-only audit record, VAID is one resolvable proof a hop's credentialRef can point to. extensions/vaid/README.md explains the extension in plain words and how to run the sample. v1/spec.md links to the canonical spec at solara-associates/vaid rather than duplicating it. The Python sample mints a VAID, attaches it to an A2A message, and verifies two requested actions (one accepted, one refused for being out of scope) using the published vaid-a2a package from PyPI.
