Player level character level

As you play matches, you earn experience points that count towards your Player Level. You also earn experience points that count towards a Character Level whenever you play with that particular character.

Player Level

What is it?

Player Level starts at Level 1 and increases as you play matches. There is no maximum player level.

What does it do?

When you advance a Player Level, you gain a large amount of in-game currency. When a player reaches level 5, they get a free character of their choice. When a player reaches level 10, they get a free skin of their choice.

Character Level

What is it?

Each character has their own separate level. Character Level starts at Level 1 and increases as you play matches with that character. The maximum character level is 20.

What does it do?

When a character reaches level 10, you gain a profile picture of the character. When a character reaches level 20, you gain a special "Mastery Skin" for that character.
