When the PC goes to sleep while Delfinovin is open (regardless of fully open, minimised or in system tray), then powers back on, Delfinovin will still be running but in a glitched state. The virtual Xbox controller is still connected, but receives no input from the WUP-028 adapter. Connecting and disconnecting controllers also has no effect. The only way to return the program to normal is to fully close and reopen it.
Another issue that may be related to this is that sometimes, when closing the program, it stays in a "half-closed" state where it is not present on the taskbar or system tray, and no devices are connected, but Delfinovin is apparently still running in Task Manager, preventing Delfinovin from being opened a second time. The only way to solve this is to stop the program through Task Manager, which is more than cumbersome.
