CIM15: Common Information Model

CIM is an international standard developed to serve as a data model for the exchange of electric power systems' information within a network. It comprises the following standards: IEC62325, IEC61968, and IEC61970.

Power Flow

Solves a power flow problem using one of the following algorithms:

  • Newton-Raphson
  • Explicit Netwon

Grid Architect

Define the actors, behaviors, and messages that constitute a topology. It encompasses the fundamental theoretical and structural definitions used in MEMAP. Grid architect project uses CIM15 to enable the coupling with the Power Flow project.
