Tool Calls for Grok 4.5 are printed instead of called

Hello,

I'm using OpenCode TUI with Cursor-ACP connected & working. Most of the planning works. Once in a while I get a thought cutoff or interrupted mid-stream.

However, the most serious problems are the tool calls. See image above. Instead of it being called, I see it prints out in the response body (which does not help).

Composer 2.5 tool calling seems to be OK 🤔 this might be a Grok 4.5 specific issue & not one with your ACP. I'll try more model & report back 🤷🏻

Using Grok 4.5 from OpenCode Zen directly doesn't have similar issues (it works perfectly there).

grok 4.5 through zen uses opencode's gateway which just routes from openrouter or xAI (for grok) with opencode-cursor, we run it through cursor-agent and translate cursor's stream and tool protocol into opencode's. the provider path and tool schema differ, so the same model can behave differently.

I fixed the duplicated responses in #115. cursor sends raw token deltas followed by a full snapshot, and our old prefix check could replay the answer. grok printing tool syntax as prose is a separate issue. my test produced a valid grok tool call, but one clean run does not clear the issue, so I'll keep this open.

after #115 ships, please retest both models and paste the prompt if grok does it again.
