--game <game_mod_id>will skip the launcher and start the specified game.--game_mode <mod_id>will skip the launcher and start the game mode offered by a mod for the specified game.This also fixes a small runtime error where VI updates could run before the game sends one, so the next state is initialized to null instead and VI updates are skipped in that case.
