…rtMode prop - VideoPlayerV2: maxBufferLength 30->10, maxMaxBufferLength 60->30, added maxBufferSize, abrEwmaDefaultEstimate 3Mbps, startFragPrefetch true - VideoPlayerV2: new fastStartMode prop — when true uses aggressive low-buffer settings (5s/15s/5MB) - Embed page: passes fastStartMode, adds preconnect/dns-prefetch to API origin - Watch page: adds preconnect/dns-prefetch to API origin
- New /{video_id}/stream-url endpoint: returns signed URL after auth/premium check
- cloudfront_signer.py: generates signed URLs with custom policy (path wildcard covers manifest + segments)
- VideoPlayerV2: fetches signed URL on mount, initializes HLS.js directly against CDN
- Expiry re-fetch: on 403 during playback, re-fetches signed URL and reloads (up to 2 retries)
- Fallback: if signed URL fetch fails, falls back to legacy backend proxy
- Old proxy endpoints: deprecated (X-Deprecated header) but kept as rollback safety net
- config.py: CLOUDFRONT_KEY_PAIR_ID + CLOUDFRONT_PRIVATE_KEY env vars
- requirements.txt: added cryptography for RSA signing
