Face metadata does not get embedded for videos

When attempting to embed recognized face region metadata in video assets it gets skipped, this is troublesome as other metadata gets embedded (dates and such). Therefore, after deletion/re-upload of the asset the face region data is lost.

The -faces option should also apply to videos, is there a limitation for face region metadata for videos?

I pulled the latest image (v1.0.4), but the faces are still not embedded in videos, it works with pictures. So the issue is not solved yet unfortunately.

Also, when checking for version with -version flag the output is immich-exif dev instead of immich-exif v1.0.4 or similar.

The latest merged changes (v1.0.5) still do not solve the issue.

Here's how I test:

An image with 2 persons tagged in Immich:

Notice that the face regions are not added (according to the logs). I used -dry-run on purpose.

I have tested with the same files, now it seems face regions are properly embedded.

However, there are still some discrepancies regarding EXIF data embedding: for a picture and a video taken one after the other, the picture gets its timezone value updated and the original date features the timezone value. As for the video the timezone is completely ignored.

I don't know if it's because the video is missing the timezone value, but somehow I suspect that EXIF data processing is not accurate. It seems the images and videos have different EXIF data embedding capabilities, ideally they should be the same.

What I see when testing:
