Add a setting to turn cover-art dithering on or off, with the original artwork as the default. When enabled, let users choose from a few visual styles, such as Bayer 8×8, Stucki, and Atkinson. Color the dithered artwork to match the theme’s progress-bar color and playbar background. The option should apply to cover art in the miniplayer and full-screen view.
