PrecompileTools workload hangs infinitely on Windows #47

Closed as duplicate

Description

@DeniedPyro

When trying to add LibSSH v1.0.0+ on a Windows system, the precompilation hangs infinitely:

@compile_workload begin
    port, server = Sockets.listenany(Sockets.localhost, 2222)
    port = Int(port)
    close(server)
    server = DemoServer(port; password="foo", auth_methods=[AuthMethod_Password])

    session = Session(Sockets.localhost, port)
    @assert isconnected(session)
    @assert userauth_password(session, "foo") == AuthStatus_Success
    close(session)

    close(server)
end

I tried to remove the @compile_workload and run it line by line to see which part of it hangs infinitely and it is this call:
session = Session(Sockets.localhost, port)
I'm guessing it is stuck on an SSH_AGAIN flag
