Publish generation-pinned projections, native typed queries and CompassQL, configuration, operations, and integration coverage. Preserve graph-digest binding during restore and scope generation GC by repository. Record operator-directed immediate deployment with remaining targeted verification and certification explicitly pending.

Summary
Phase 2: fully wire optional SurrealDB through Compass, supporting both embedded
SurrealKV (optional RocksDB) and standalone servers. This PR targets
GQAdonis/compass:main, not the upstream repository.
immutable generation staging and exact reference pinning, repair, and GC.
digest-bound store validation/backup/restore.
standalone-server support remains opt-in alongside embedded engines.
Motivation and merge order
The adapter must be usable end to end, not merely exist as an isolated crate.
Merge this Phase 2 PR before the separate Phase 3 legacy-artifact boundary PR: #4.
The Phase 3 branch already descends from this head, so its diff against main
will narrow automatically once this PR lands with its ancestry preserved.
Verification
The combined release was installed before the operator-requested reduced checks.
.kbd-orchestrator/changes/surreal-integration/verification.md.unchanged complete suite subsequently passed. Their cause was not established.

and 90a0a4c. Phase 3 is excluded from this PR.
Compatibility and documentation
Upstream default feature closures remain Surreal-free. Canonical JSON remains
portable; explicit/native Surreal queries never use it as a fallback. Remote
credentials are not persisted in references. Versioned projection/configuration/
reference/bundle contracts and migration instructions are documented.
Existing fork-owned execution records remain in the fork PR; local runtime
state, generated repository graphs, and credentials are excluded. The upstream
submission will require an isolated branch excluding fork-only history.
