Quick Start

Install

# From the repo
python3 maya-gate.py install

# Or using the install script
bash maya-gate-install.sh

Installs git pre-commit hook, Claude Code PreToolUse hook, OpenCode plugin, and shell alias.

Uninstall

bash maya-gate-uninstall.sh

Removes all hooks and plugins. Script files are kept at ~/scripts/ so you can reinstall later with python3 maya-gate.py install.

If maya-gate breaks or starts blocking legitimate AI output, run the uninstall script first, then investigate.
