Codex app-server startup against the existing Shanghai account home took 30.502 seconds, while Hermes terminated initialization after 10 seconds. Increase the shared client's initialization deadline to 60 seconds so startup can finish before the handshake is declared failed.
Validation: 45 existing app-server integration, lifecycle and persistence tests passed through
scripts/run_tests.sh; Ruff passed. A real Codex 0.146.0 instance completed initialization with the longer deadline. This fork has no pre-commit configuration; its native checks were used.
