Exact byte-capacity enforcement rejects a 74-byte multisig signature in transport decoding, before the chain handler. Assert the exact protocol-decode failure and retain the follow-up TxAck check proving signing is terminated. The updated test reproduced the missing abort on the current firmware and passes with the companion transport-abort fix. Both signing-boundary tests passed locally; final firmware integration remains required. No Copilot request during internal rehearsal.
