Project HMS is a hospital management system built using Python and the tkinter GUI package, designed to make offline data collection and management easy—even for users with zero Python/MySQL knowledge.
Originally, I was supposed to build a CLI tool using MySQL and Python's terminal interface. But I decided to take it further and build a complete GUI using tkinter. What followed was 3–4 days of trial, error, and lots of debugging (you know how that goes 👨💻).
There used to be a matplotlib graph for visualizing payment info, but it was sadly removed on the insistence of my CS teacher, because "it had no practical use." 😭
I’ve also included an image in the repo showing the MySQL commands if you're setting it up from scratch.

I tend to overachieve. It mostly pays off. This one payed off in both marks and growth. This time, got full marks like everyone else 😅. But I walked away knowing way more than just the syllabus.
