Thank you for getting the release rolling. I just haven't been in a good spot to push it out myself yet.

I just have one comment about the changelog and then this looks good to merge. Did you want to push the releases to crates.io? Otherwise I can get that in a few hours most likely (in addition to the GitHub releases/tag etc).

I was planning to release as soon as possible. But if you can do it in a few hours that's perfect also feel free to push commits to this barnch or force push this branch.

@Gae24 I'm not sure: people want this release out (which is mostly my bad for taking so long) and #181's PR description mentions we still need to figure out public function parameter types.
