+## Cursor Cloud specific instructions
+
+This is a minimal static-website sample repository. The `main` branch currently
+contains only `README.md` — there is no package manager, build system, test
+suite, or lint configuration, so there are no dependencies to install.
+
+### Running the site (development)
+
+The natural dev workflow is a static file server from the repo root. Python 3
+(`python3 -m http.server`) and Node (`npx serve`) are both available on the VM:

+Then open `http://localhost:8000/`. Any HTML files added to the repo (for
+example an `index.html`) are served directly with no build step.
