How do you setup Boss Key

This should not be this hard it actually says works on all onn boxes! Well I've been trying for over an hour just to get a freaking boss button to work but nothing on my remote will work for the freaking boss BUTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can someone please recommend a mouse that will actually work on a onn box without having to be a programmer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you specify where is it claimed that it works for all onn boxes?
I don't remember making that claim, but if it is somewhere I can correct it.

About the boss button, unfortunately each manufacturer does their own implementation changes to the stock android, sometimes even intercepting some keys and preventing them from being consumed by any accessibility apps. I'm not sure if the key you're trying to set falls under this criteria. There is unfortunately no way for me to confirm this without access to the hardware and corresponding debugging tools.

It is likely that the os on onn boxes is doing something unexpected.
