Support for MongoDB 8.0

The above issue stated that mongo 6.0 and 7.0 are supported.
We were told that the same fiwere app, orion, was compatible with mongo 8.0 in 4.2.0.

Will cygnus work with mongo 8.0?
(with cygnus 3 series)

Or is there a plan to release one for mongo 8.0 and later versions in the future?

We haven't tested MongoDB 8.0 with Cygnus, but maybe it could work without any change in the code (in the case of Orion, we didn't need to do any change to support MongoDB 8.0)

Maybe you could test and tell us about the result, please?

Cygnus is using mongodb driver for 3.12.14 for java
According with this matrix: https://www.mongodb.com/docs/drivers/java/sync/current/reference/compatibility

The driver version will work with the MongoDB version 8, but not all new MongoDB features are supported.

Anyway, we are pretty sure (80-90% confidence interval :) that it will work with MongoDB 8.0
